BELGRADE (SERBIA) (ITALPRESS) – The Serbian news agency Tanjug and the Italpress agency have signed an international partnership in Belgrade that will enable the respective agencies to enhance their information flows through a mutual exchange of news, photos and videos on the Balkan area.
Italpress and Tanjug will share editorial content in English and collaborate on special projects, organization of events both in Italy and Serbia and throughout the Balkan area.
The agreement was signed in Belgrade by Italpress founder and director Gaspare Borsellino and Tanjug managing director Manja Grcic.
“We are extremely honored,” said Director General Grcic, “to have signed a cooperation agreement with one of the most important and authoritative private Italian news agencies, Italpress. This partnership, which is in addition to the agreement that has existed for years with the news agency Ansa, will enable us to exchange news, photos and videos to be made available to our subscribers.”
Also very pleased with this partnership is editor Gaspare Borsellino. “I am really pleased and proud,” says the director of the Italpress agency, “of the agreement with Tanjug, a historic Serbian news agency, which will allow us to enrich our Foreign News with careful, precise and timely information on the entire Balkan area.
For us,” Borsellino continued, “after having also landed in Bucharest, this cooperation agreement with Tanjug takes on a strategic significance since Belgrade represents a privileged geopolitical position for the entire Balkan area.
This agreement with Tanjug follows the partnership signed by Italpress in recent days, also in Belgrade, with the director of the Serbian Government Office for Public and Cultural Diplomacy Arnaud Gouyon.
