TEL AVIV (ISRAELE) (ITALPRESS) – Israeli MPs Michel Buskila, Ofir Katz and the President of the Parliament’s Justice Commission, Simcha Rothman, presented this morning a bill aimed at repealing the crimes of fraud and abuse of trust by the Criminal Code. The Israeli media report it. This is the crimes for which Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is currently under trial and is likely to be condemned.
The purpose of the bill would be to “establish clearly defined crimes that are currently not governed by law, such as conflicts of interest involving close relatives and government insider trading”, according to Buskila, Katz and Rothman.
