BEIRUT (LIBANON) (ITALPRESS) – Israeli armed forces have announced that they have started “limited and targeted land operations” against the Hezbollah in southern Lebanon. The purpose of the ground operation is to “strengthen the defense zone”, Idf is known. TRUMP “FUTURO NEGATIVO PER LA NATO SE NON AIUTA A HORMUZ”
“I ask insistently to intervene and protect their territory, because it is their territory, it is from there that they draw their energy and should help us protect it.” So the US President, Donald Trump, who returned again to ask with insistent support to ensure the safety of the Strait of Hormuz, a strategic way for the transport of oil, believing that the future would be “very negative” for NATO in case of refusal of assistance from its allies.
Trump spoke of “a modest enterprise” because Iranian missile and drone capabilities were “decimate”. In President of the United States he said he had contacted “about seven countries”, but that he was soon to say who would come forward.
ARAGHCHI “DA ISRAELE CRIMINI DI GUERRA”
Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi called “war crimes” and “ecocidation” the Israeli bombing of deposits and fuel tanks in the capital Tehran, which recently occurred in the context of the ongoing conflict. In a post on his X account, Araghchi wrote: “Israel bombings on fuel deposits in Tehran violate international law and constitute ecocide. Residents face long-term damage to health and well-being. The contamination of soil and groundwater could have impacts for generations. Israel must be punished for war crimes committed.” The minister also reiterated the determination of Iran to continue its resistance, stating that the Iranian armed forces “will act until the American president recognizes that the illegitimate war imposed both the Americans and the Iranians is wrong and should not repeat itself”, insisting on the need to compensate for the victims. In an interview broadcast Sunday by the CBS network, Araghchi excluded any interest in negotiations with Washington, responding to President Donald Trump’s statements that Tehran would want an agreement to end the conflict. “We are stable and strong enough. We only defend our people,” he said, adding: “We don’t see any reason to talk to the Americans, since we did so when they decided to attack us, and this is repeated for the second time. We don’t have a good history in relationships with them.”.
He also denied that Iran has ever called for a ceasefire or negotiations: “We have never asked for a ceasefire or even less negotiations. We are ready to defend ourselves for as long as necessary.” The declarations are part of the escalation of the conflict between Iran, Israel and the United States, with repeated Israeli and American air attacks on Iranian energy infrastructures, including fuel deposits, which caused fires and environmental risks. The Iranian authorities denounce violations of international humanitarian and environmental law, while Western sources and organizations such as Amnesty International invite all parties to refrain from attacks on critical civil infrastructure. There are no official details about victims or entities of damage to Tehran from this specific episode.
FUJAIRAH, INCENDIO NELLA ZONA INDUSTRIE PETROLIFERE DOPO ATTACCO CON DRONE
The Fujairah Emirate authorities in the United Arab Emirates reported that a fire broke out in the Fujairah Oil Industry Zone (FOIZ) area, known as the oil industry area, due to a drone attack. According to the Media Office of the government of Fujairah, no victims or wounded are currently recorded. The teams of the Civil Defence Department intervened immediately on the spot and are operating to contain and extinguish the flames. The incident is part of increasing regional tensions, with repeated air attacks and drones against energy infrastructure in the United Arab Emirates, often attributed to Iranian sources or affiliate groups. In similar cases previous, the damages were caused by fragments of drones intercepted by the air defenses hemiratine, which caused limited fires but with impacts on port operations and oil storage. The authorities invited the population not to spread uncontrolled news and to follow only official communications. Oil loading operations in the port of Fujairah may suffer partial suspensions or precautionary delays, as happened in recent analogous episodes. Additional updates are expected as the shut-off operations proceed.
