It expands the “Suzuki Song”, 29 new vinegars donated to the city of Turin

TORINO (ITALPRESS) – The “Bosco diffuse Suzuki” continues to expand and this afternoon has enriched 29 new autochthonous specimens set in the park of Piazza d’Armi in Turin, close to the stadium where the Granata Club of Urbano Cairo plays. An initiative strongly wanted by Suzuki, in synergy with Torino Fc and the Municipality, taking a further step forward towards a future with zero emissions. Paolo Ilariuzzi, director of the Moto and Marine Division of Suzuki Italia, was present at the planting ceremony, explaining: “We are here today in Piazza d’Armi, which is a beautiful park in the heart of the city, to conclude an activity that together with Turin we are doing, that is to say the planting this year of 29 trees, the most Japanese maples, that serve to return the commitment and gratitude that Suzuki wants to recognize to its customers and Turin to its fans, to enrich the urban green and improve the quality of the air partner,” he says. To represent the club Granata there were two exceptional testimonials, namely the players Giovanni Simeone and Matteo Prati, along with the operating director Alberto Barile. During the Suzuki Green Friday of 28 November, thanks to the collection of 0.5% of the general turnover from the sales produced by the three divisions Suzuki (Auto, Moto and Marine, including spare parts and accessories), were collected 14.504,89 euros, destined to increase the city green through the planting of new trees.
Today’s initiative is another part of a shared path that, in the past years, has led to the establishment of hundreds of trees and the creation of the “Bosco del Toro”, a project symbol of collaboration between Suzuki and Torino Fc. On the occasion of the National Day of Trees 2025, the commitment of the Suzuki network resulted in the establishment of 229 new trees: each dealer planted at least one tree in his area. With this activity, the “Suzuki diffuse bosco” reaches 1445 trees, contributing to the total reduction of 35,325 kg of CO2 per year. “Suzuki’s commitment to environmental sustainability starts from afar, even from the mother’s home, because for several years now world environmental protection and cleaning campaigns have been taking place through the branches around the world, the commitment also involves our dealers and customers to clean up the areas left a bit to the abandonment and blankets of waste – adds Ilariuzzi – Not only, because the commitment also starts from the production: for many years has been eliminated almost protection Everything that is made of plastic is eliminated and replaced with biodegradable material, this over the years has saved more than 100 tons of plastic emitted into the environment. It is a consolidated movement that even starts from the Levant and that we are proud to be able to interpret in Italy”.
