Ita Airways celebrates the Winter Olympics with showcasing Skyway in Milan

MILAN (ITALPRESS) – The magic of travel meets the sport: ITA Airways, as Official Airline Sponsor of the Olympic Games and Winter Paralympics of Milan Cortina 2026, today inaugurated its showcasing SKYWAY, which will be present in Piazza San Carlo, in Milan, until March 15, 2026.

With SKYWAY, ITA Airways intends to increase the visibility of the brand on an international stage of prestige that involves the public through experiential activities. The showcasing is articulated through two pavilions characterized by blue color, distinctive element of the Company, able to express the identity of ITA Airways and its connection with Milan Cortina 2026.

The pavilions integrate white surfaces and natural wood inserts that recall the shapes of the mountains, creating an architecture of great visual impact but at the same time harmonious conjugation of national identity, sports spirit and environmental sensitivity; the second pavilion reproduces the fuselage of an airplane, with porthole overlooking a mountain landscape that help to strengthen the illusion of flight and the connection with the alpine environment.

There are numerous initiatives that ITA Airways has developed to celebrate the Games, beginning with the special livery made on Airbus A320. Thanks to the illustrations signed by Emiliano Ponzi, the aircraft becomes a narrative surface that celebrates the values of sport, inclusiveness and shared emotion, returning to those who look at an immediate and recognizable feeling: the Olympic Games and Winter Paralympics.

For the occasion, the Company created special menus on board its medium-range Business Class. In the lounges of Rome Fiumicino and Milan Linate, Hangar Lounge and Runway Lounge, two new products will cover the entire arch of the Olympics and Paralympics: a dedicated menu, and celebratory videos visible on the monitors of the rooms.

Finally, through a multichannel advertising campaign on air from 6 to 23 February (TV, streaming TV, web, social and radio), ITA Airways will tell the parallelism between the dedication of Olympic athletes and the emotion of travellers.
