Italpress agency opens a correspondence office in Bucharest

BUCAREST (ROMANIA) (ITALPRESS) – News agency Italpress lands in Bucharest and opens a correspondence office in the Romanian capital’s central Vasile Lascar Street, continuing its expansion program in the Eastern European region.
This additional and important piece of Italpress’ overseas expansion is part of the recent agreement with ADV Communication and with the partnership signed with Confindustria Romania.
To introduce themselves to Romanian and Italian stakeholders present in Bucharest, Italpress and Confindustria Romania organized a gala evening at the prestigious Intercontinental Athenee Palace hotel in the Romanian capital, which was attended by more than 180 Italian and Romanian entrepreneurs.
The presence of local and Italian authorities was also very rich, led by the Ambassador of Italy in Bucharest Alfredo Durante Mangoni, the director of ICE in Romania Micaela Soldini, the Honorary Consul in Sibiu Italo Selleri, the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Agriculture Aurel Simion, and the general director of Unifarm (Ministry of Health) Adrian Dobre.
During the evening, the president of Confindustria Romania, Giulio Bertola, presented a Lifetime Achievement Award to journalist Claudio Brachino, for more than 30 years head of news at Mediaset, and for the past four years head of the Video area of the Italpress agency.
“With the opening of the Bucharest office,” says Italpress Agency director Gaspare Borsellino, “we continue our growth in this important area of Eastern Europe. Therefore, after the agreements with the Serbian government and the collaboration with the Tanjug agency in Belgrade, today we are putting another important step in the internationalization of our agency in the East. In Bucharest we also have a television studio that we put at the disposal of the many companies present in Romania and local bodies and institutions that want to have a direct line to our country.”

Very pleased with this partnership Gabriela Popa, Communication Specialist at ADV Agency, who added, “We are honored to collaborate with such a prestigious partner as Italpress. This joint venture not only reinforces our commitment to quality communication but also lays the foundations for a new era of cooperation between the media of our two countries, supporting also the largest Italian investments in Romania.”
Great satisfaction was also expressed by the president of Confindustria Romania, Giulio Bertola, both for the agreement signed with Italpress and for the agency’s new office in Bucharest, which will garrison the area and serve the many companies that have been operating in the area for years: “We have put into practice a project that was born in Rome, and that has found concreteness in the agreement between Confindustria Romania and Italpress,” says Bertola, who explains how the organization is “somewhat the guiding entity of all the other international representations of Confindustria in Eastern Europe, it has a historicity of over 20 years. There is a bilaterality in the exchange that is not only economic, but also human.”
