LIVIGNO (ITALPRESS) – Italy officially beats the record of medals of Lillehammer 1994, after matching the primacy thanks to Federica Brignone: 21 blue medals go up thanks to snowboardcross, which gives a silver. Lorenzo Sommariva and Michela Moioli close in second position behind Britain, with a detachment of 43 cents: bronze to France (+0.55). Merit of the usual rimonta of Moioli in the second part of the race, after starting with a detachment of 66/100 for a contact between Sommariva and the Australian athlete: thus rise to 21 blue medals, new absolute record at the Winter Olympics.
