ROME (ITALPRESS) – DRI, the Ukrainian private group company Dtek that operates in Europe’s renewables sector, announces the appointment of Ivan Geliukh as its new chief executive officer as of Jan. 1. Geliukh takes over from John Stuart, who led DRI for about three years, successfully growing it into a major player in the renewables sector in the markets in which it operates-Croatia, Italy, Poland, and Romania. During John Stuart’s tenure, DRI has grown by developing 1.4GW of renewable plants and storage systems with an international team of nearly 100 professionals present in six offices. “It has been a pleasure to grow DRI from a start-up to an established SME in power generation with a mission to accelerate the energy transition in Europe. EU countries have ambitious targets for renewable energy deployment to which I am sure DRI will contribute. I am confident that Ivan will lead DRI into a new phase of development, drawing on the proven experience gained at Dtek,” said John Stuart. For Dri’s newly appointed CEO Ivan Geliukh, “I am honored to take on this role at DRI, one of Dtek’s fastest growing companies, with a mission to further develop green energy and storage systems in Europe. I thank John for his great commitment over the years; under his leadership DRI has become a major player in the renewables sector with great prospects. I will work for significant growth with the goal of establishing renewable energy plants and storage systems by 2030 in the markets where we operate and exploring new ones throughout Europe. “Geliukh comes to DRI after serving as CEO of D.Trading, Dtek’s trading company in Europe, where he led the expansion of operations in 23 countries with 22 trading activities as of 2022. Joining the Dtek Group since 2005, Geliukh has served as head of Dtek Grids and co-chair of the Energy Community Distribution System Operators in Electricity (ECDSO-E) within the Energy Community.(ITALPRESS).-Photo: DRI press office-
