MILAN (ITALPRESS) – Early elections in Japan close to ending with a crushing victory for the ruling coalition led by Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi and LLDP.
The exit poll NHK predicts that the LLDP alone will win about 274-328 seats, well above the threshold of the majority of 233 seats.
Together with the Party of Japanese Innovation, the coalition is destined to obtain 300-366 seats, potentially reaching a two-thirds majority in the House of Representatives.
