Juric “Roma is growing, but it will be tough in Monza”

ROME (ITALPRESS) – “We still have big room for improvement, as a team and as ideas. Against Elfsborg I saw the right concepts, we moved the ball well but we lacked in our choices. We are all focused on our goal, we have to grow a lot to compete with the others.” These were the words of Roma coach Ivan Juric in a press conference on the eve of the challenge against Monza, regarding the Champions League goal set by the Friedkin family. “I think we have great room for improvement both as a team and as ideas,” continued the Giallorossi coach. “I liked the match against Elfsborg because, beyond the result, I saw some right concepts. The goal is the growth of the team. To compete on both fronts, league and cup, we have to have all the players available and, right now, there is the absence of Saelemaekers who can do many roles, and that of Zalewski; we are a bit in deficit.” Juric dwells on the upcoming engagement and warns his boys that they should not be confused by the last place in the standings of Nesta’s men. “Monza has shown that it can play very good soccer. It has collected much less than it deserved. It has played good games, it has a talented roster, and you can see the work that Palladino did last year. There is very good synchronization of movements and, because of that, I expect a tough game. I saw them live against Inter and they made a great impression on me.” Then space for the condition of some players. “Hummels is starting to get better. Today we will see him in training and decide. Same for Dybala. Le Fee has resumed training and seems to be fine, like everyone else,” the Giallorossi coach concluded. – Photo Ipa Agency -(ITALPRESS).
