TURIN (ITALPRESS) – A few days before the return derby, police at the Turin police headquarters have carried out numerous searches of Juventus and Toro ultras. With the collaboration of the police headquarters of Asti, Novara, Pavia, Savona, Varese and Piacenza, under the delegation of the Turin Public Prosecutor’s Office, 23 personal and house searches were carried out this morning “against as many adherents of ultras groups of Juventus and Torino, who are being investigated for brawling, illegal carrying of offensive objects and disguise, following the violent brawl that occurred in this city center on the night before the derby last Nov. 9, near the Church of the Great Mother of God, between more than 100 supporters who also faced each other using clubs, sticks, belts, knives and explosive devices.” The two headquarters of the Juventus ultras groups “Drughi” and “Primo Novembre 1897” were also searched, and their premises were also subjected to specific administrative and security checks by personnel from the Administrative and Social Police Division of the Turin Police Headquarters, the Asl and the fire department. Computer media and clothing used by the perpetrators during the violent actions were seized, and 43 Daspo orders were adopted by the Turin Questore, in addition to initiating procedures for the aggravation of 20 other disqualification orders already issued, in the past, for similar criminal conduct.
