Key Witness Emerges in Death of 13-Year-Old Aurora in Piacenza

A testimony leads to the arrest of a 15-year-old boy for suspected homicide

On October 25, a key witness reported seeing 13-year-old Aurora, who tragically fell from her apartment building in Piacenza, with her boyfriend moments before her fatal plunge. Following this testimony, the Bologna Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office has arrested the 15-year-old boy on charges of homicide. Initially released and investigated as a free individual, the shocking nature of the witness’s account prompted authorities to take decisive action.

The witness claims to have seen the suspect push Aurora from the balcony, a statement deemed critical by investigators. This revelation led to the issuance of the arrest warrant by the Bologna Prosecutor’s Office, which oversees the Carabinieri’s investigation in Piacenza. The minor is expected to appear in court later today for the validation of the arrest, where he will have the opportunity to present his side of the story with the assistance of his lawyer.
