This was reiterated by Senate President Ignazio La Russa at the beginning of the traditional exchange of greetings with the parliamentary press. “I deny that there is a clash between politics and the judiciary, nor do I wish it, this gray area that there is on the perimeter of one’s functions, those of magistrates and politics, somehow must find a definition,” La Russa said.
