TURIN (ITALPRESS) – Lancia’s official return to the world of rallying is one of the most anticipated events of the 2025 season, with increasing interest from fans and media both nationally and internationally.
It will be the Rally Regione Piemonte, scheduled to take place in Alba (CN) April 11-13, that will host a striking preview of the Turin-based brand’s new era in motorsport, with many surprises on the way for all rally lovers. Protagonists of this new phase are the spirited Lancia Ypsilon Rally4 HF, the Lancia Corse HF team and the competitive one-make Lancia Trophy.
The combination of these three elements testifies to the brand’s strong desire to continue its tradition in the world of “sideways driving,” made up of victories and drivers who have entered the history of the sport. That the road taken is the right one is demonstrated both by the success of the Ypsilon Rally4 HF, which is poised to surpass 90 units sold in just four months, and by the boom in registrations for the Lancia Trophy, which has already raised the ceiling to 40 units.
After all, the project has convinced a great many drivers and preparers since its inception, who have rated the race car sincere and generous, whose front-wheel-drive configuration allows younger drivers to enter one of the most technical disciplines of motorsport and, at the same time, allows the most experienced drivers to draw the maximum performance to aim for the overall victory among Rally4s.
“We are excited to begin our sporting adventure right from Piedmont, once again strengthening our deep connection with this territory. A symbolic start that marks the prelude to a promising season, full of adrenaline and passion, where tradition and innovation meet. With the Ypsilon Rally4 HF and the Lancia Trophy, we want to bring back our sporting DNA on the roads and in the hearts of the fans who have never stopped believing in us, getting excited by our past victories and dreaming together of the return of a great Italian sporting history,” declares Luca Napolitano, CEO of the Lancia brand.
