Lavrov “Inquiries of Stubb and Meloni ceasefire are to earn time”

MOSCA (RUSSIA) (ITALPRESS) – The appeals to the ceasefire in Ukraine of Finnish president Alexander Stubb and Italian council president Giorgia Meloni “actually grant the desire to earn time for the Kiev regime”. Russian Foreign Minister Sergej Lavrov said this, according to the agency Tass, taking up an interview sent by the broadcaster Pervyj kanal.

“Some people, including the President of Finland and the Italian Prime Minister, are beginning to talk about the need for immediate ceasefire. And also behind this is the desire to earn time: everyone understands it very well. And Volodymyr Zelensky doesn’t even hide it. He says: ‘We urgently need Patriot missiles and air defense systems; we must preserve our Statò,’ said Lavrov.
