Lazio knocked out in Parma: shots from Man, Mohamed and Delprato

PARMA (ITALPRESS) – Lazio falls 3-1 at the “Tardini” against Parma after five consecutive successes in Serie A. Goals from Man, Haj Mohamed and Delprato decide the match. Useless, however, the momentary 2-1 by Castellanos. Abrupt braking of the Capitolini, who were launched in the standings; beautiful success of the Ducals, increasingly among the surprises of this championship.
The biancoceleste team started off strong right away, taking the lead after a few seconds through Nicolò Rovella but the goal was annulled by the Var for a foul by the midfielder. Fabio Pecchia’s boys immediately retaliate by exploiting precisely a mistake by Rovella, who opens the door wide to Man at 6′: the Romanian comes alone in front of Provedel and scores the 1-0 goal. Lazio, then, tries to regroup and shows up on Suzuki’s sides first with a Rovella conclusion and then with Zaccagni, who, however, miss the target. The Ducals, for their part, try to strike on the counterattack Haj Mohamed and Delprato but even in these cases they lack precision at the moment of the shot. At 27′ Lazio came close to equalizing with a header by Castellanos, on which Balogh’s save on the line was providential.
Ten minutes later the Capitolini saw another goal cancelled out by Zufferli, this time for an offside by Castellanos. Marco Baroni’s men continued to push and, a few minutes before halftime, had another great chance for 1-1 with Isaksen, but Valeri’s intervention foiled the threat. In the salvage, the referee initially awarded a penalty to Lazio for an alleged foul by Keita on Zaccagni, but after a brief Var review the penalty was revoked. In the second half it was Parma who had the first chance on goal in 50′ with Cancellieri, whose left-footed shot grazed the post to Provedel’s right. Two minutes later Romagnoli attempted a header on the development of a corner kick, but Suzuki had a resounding reflex and saved his side. At 53′ Charpentier steals the ball from Gila and serves young Anas Haj Mohamed, who draws an impregnable trajectory for Provedel, signing the doubling goal. The Biancoceleste lineup tried to react with a Zaccagni shot but it was still the Gialloblù who made themselves more dangerous at two junctures with Man and Sohm. At 76′ Suzuki makes another great intervention on Tchaouna but at 80 combines a botch together with Valeri and gives the ball to Castellanos, who only has to push into the back of the net for 2-1.
Marco Baroni’s boys attempt the final siege, desperately going for the equalizer, but on the counterattack the Emilians secure the victory thanks to the 3-1 sealed by Delprato on Charpentier’s second assist of the day. By virtue of this result, Parma climbs to 15 points in the standings, while Lazio remains firm at 28.
