Leapmotor opens orders in Europe for T03 city car and C10 SUV

AMSTERDAM (HOLLAND) (ITALPRESS) – Stellantis authorized dealers throughout Europe are taking an increasingly central role in offering consumers clean, safe and affordable mobility solutions by accepting orders for Leapmotor’s all-electric vehicles, with the first deliveries expected by the end of the year. The opening of orders is an important step for Leapmotor International, the 51:49 joint venture between Stellantis and Leapmotor that aims to accelerate and expand sales of affordable high-tech products outside China. The milestone was reached in just under a year after the joint venture was established, coinciding with Stellantis’ investment of 1.5 billion euros to acquire about 21 percent of Leapmotor.

The first markets for Leapmotor vehicles in Europe will be Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. Leapmotor International will further expand its offerings in the Middle East & Africa (Israel and French overseas territories), Asia Pacific (Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Malaysia and Nepal) and South America (Brazil and Chile) starting in the fourth quarter of this year.
The T03 is an A-segment five-door compact car with a range of 265 km (WLTP) and interior space equal to that of the B-segment. The T03 will be offered starting at €18,900, available now. The C10, an SUV that boasts D-segment dimensions with 420 km range (WLTP), the best driving experience, the best levels of safety, an intelligent user experience, and premium comfort. It uses Leapmotor’s LEAP 3.0 architecture with centralized and integrated electronic configuration, the Cell-to-Chassis system and an intelligent cockpit. The C10 SUV will be available starting at €36,400 with arrival expected at dealers in October.
Both Leapmotor vehicles feature cutting-edge electric technologies and offer high levels of performance, efficiency, safety and range at affordable prices, thanks to the Chinese automaker’s high degree of in-house engineering capability and vertical integration. Over the next three years, Leapmotor expects to market at least one model per year.Leapmotor International’s offerings will compete with Chinese brands. The launch of Leapmotor vehicles in Europe complements and expands the portfolio of Stellantis brands to offer customers a full range at affordable prices. In parallel with this strategic move, Stellantis remains committed to its “asset-light” business model for its foreign brands in China.
