BENGASI (LIBIA) (ITALPRESS) – The Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi met today in Benghazi the general commander of the Libyan National Army Khalifa Haftar to relaunch and renew the collaboration between Italy and Cirenaica on security issues and those of socio-economic development.
“At the heart of the friendly and fruitful interview, cooperation to combat transnational criminal networks in the fight against terrorism and trafficking in human beings,” reads in a Viminale note. “We shared the need – said Piantedosi – to continue in strengthening our already positive collaboration.”.
