TRIPOLI (LIBIA) (ITALPRESS) – The rector of the University of Benghazi, Ezzeddine Al-Dersi, signed this morning an academic cooperation agreement with the Politecnico di Milano, specialized in architecture and historical preservation and classified seventh in architectural design. It is reported by the Libyan press agency “Lana” based in Benghazi.
The agreement aims to strengthen scientific collaboration and develop joint research studies and projects, with particular attention to initiatives aimed at enhancing Libya’s capacity to protect architectural heritage and rehabilitation of the historical fabric, in support of the preservation of urban and cultural identity. The agreement also provides for the launch of joint academic programs in the specializations of architecture and historical conservation, to facilitate the transfer of knowledge and experiences in line with international academic standards. This initiative is part of the efforts of the University of Benghazi to broaden international partnerships and raise the level of education and scientific research, to serve sustainable development and to strengthen the presence of athene at regional and international level.
