Who can believe that Russia will stop?” French President Emmanuel Macron said this in a message to the nation on the latest developments in the war in Ukraine.
“Next week,” he added, “we will bring together in Paris the chiefs of staff of the countries that want to take part in this lasting peace, including with the deployment of European forces on the ground. The Elysée chief then spoke of “a solid, lasting peace plan that we have prepared with the Ukrainians and several European partners. And I want to believe that the United States will remain at our side.”
