Marquez brothers in the lead in Thailand, Bagnaia out of Q2

BURIRAM (THAILAND) (ITALPRESS) – Alex Marquez, riding the Ducati Gresini, was the fastest during Practice of the Thai Grand Prix, staged at the MotoGP-class Chang circuit. The time achieved by the Spaniard was 1’29″020. The two Marquez brothers monopolize the first two positions. Marc, in fact, after finishing in the lead in the morning FP1, continues to shine in the afternoon session (Ducati Lenovo, +0″052). Third place, however, for another Iberian, Pedro Acosta (Ktm, +0″190). It was not a day without twists and turns: Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati), in fact, finds himself resoundingly excluded from direct Q2, due to a 13th place finish. In fact, the rider from Chivasso would almost certainly have entered the top ten, only to be hindered on the last flying lap by Franco Morbidelli, who was very slow in the middle of the track and now at risk of a penalty. Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia) and Morbidelli (Ducati Pertamina) are fourth and fifth, respectively. In order, Joan Mir, Raul Fernandez, Fabio Quartararo, Ai Ogura and Johann Zarco complete the top ten. Out, among others, Binder, Di Giannantonio and Bastianini.- Photo Ipa Agency -(ITALPRESS).
