Their dedication is a precious resource that contributes to the unarmed defence of the Homeland, to the promotion of peace, to the strengthening of cooperation between peoples and nations and to the implementation of the fundamental principles of the Constitution, through activities aimed at the realization of the common good.” The President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, said this on the occasion of the National Day of universal civil service.
“The Civil Service is a precious occasion for moral enrichment and personal growth that positively impacts the community, contributing to the consolidation of civic sense, an essential prerequisite for the construction of a more cohesive and equitable society – he adds. On the National Day of universal civil service, the Republic expresses gratitude to young people who choose to make their work available to the community and appreciation for the bodies whose activities make possible the implementation of the projects.”.
