ROME (ITALPRESS) – “Working women have the same rights and, for equal work, must be paid the same wages as their male colleagues. We know that the road to achieving compliance with this principle is still to be concluded, but this prescription and the consequent duty of the institutions to work to make it effective everywhere should be remembered.” This was said by the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, at the ceremony at the Quirinale for the awarding of the Stars of Labor Merit 2024.
