ABU DHABI (ARABI ERIATES) (ITALPRESS) – A new phase of strengthening bilateral relations between Italy and the United Arab Emirates opens. In Abu Dhabi, during the official meeting at the Presidential Palace, the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, underlined the value of the visit, saying that “it takes a historical value, being the first visit of an Italian Head of State”, in response to the words of welcome of the President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Both presidents reaffirmed the desire to promote sustainable development and future prosperity for the benefit of the two countries and their peoples, also recalling the importance of the official visit made last year in Rome, which contributed concretely to the consolidation of bilateral collaboration.
