ROMA (ITALPRESS) – “The Constitution recognizes a high civic value for savings. Its immediate purpose corresponds to the aspiration of families to pursue goals of social growth, response to needs, protection against emergencies. The Charter prescribes the protection of a good of families, therefore of the national community and this protection is expressed, first of all, in its safeguard, action to be taken to look at institutions and ordinations. Protecting savings means encouraging jobs that increase their value, creating conditions to act as a fundamental leverage of the economy. Being, that is, a resource that expands personal and collective well-being, projecting this heritage on future generations.” Thus, the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, in the message he sent to the President of the Association of Fundamentals and Casse di Risparmio, Giovanni Azzone.
“The same currency of the Euro – the Head of State emphasizes – has had the aim of preserving and strengthening the savings of European citizens and their purchasing power more effectively. The World Savings Day, which has reached its 101st edition, recalls and urges these duties. Protection is a condition for savings to be a factor of inclusion and, therefore, of social cohesion and a motor of development. The challenge is to build a path that assures the resilience – of the great entrepreneurial realities, of the widespread fabric of small and medium-sized enterprises, of artisans, communities and families – expanding, through appropriate tools for investment, the audience of those who can thus contribute to the development of the country”.
“Saving is a highly valuable asset of our companies, for investments in the most innovative and strategic sectors, starting from ecological and digital transitions. It is an area in which our social model can avail itself in a positive way of the foundations of banking origin, which contribute to its presidio and to which the public orders, as recently happened with the dialogue for the update of the Acri-Mef protocol, are called to ensure support”, concludes the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella.
