Maxi fraud Iva in telecommunications, entrepreneur at home in Rome

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The Guardia di Finanza in Rome, at the end of articulated investigations coordinated by the Prosecutor of the Capitoline Republic, has carried out an order of personal precautionary custody issued by the Gip of the Tribunal of Rome towards a well-known entrepreneur active for about thirty years in the fields of technology and telecommunications.

The man, placed under house arrest, is accused of having devised a complex tax fraud aimed at the evasion of VAT through a fictitious activity of intermediation of international telephone traffic.

According to the prosecution, through the use of digital platforms and foreign companies attributable to the investigation, huge non-existent tax credits would be generated. The mechanism would have caused a damage of more than 2.5 million euros. Overall, five people are being investigated.
