Mazda CX-60 2025, evolution driving pleasure and construction refinement

ROME (ITALPRESS) – The new Mazda CX-60 2025, is coming to dealerships throughout Italy. With evolved and improved performance and an even more refined interior, this car not only elevates driving pleasure, but evolves it into a unique and refined experience. Born on the sophisticated large platform and designed to deliver top-notch dynamic performance, the Mazda CX-60 2025 fully embodies the ‘Crafted in Japan’ philosophy, elevating Japanese craftsmanship to an unprecedented level.Mazda precisely applies the principle of Kaizen, or continuous improvement of its cars, relying primarily on feedback from customers around the world. The CX-60 was the first model to be born on the “Large” platform developed entirely in-house, an approach that enables continuous developments and refinements that have a great impact on driving pleasure and the perception of quality on board. More than two years after its launch, the Mazda CX-60 2025 incorporates dozens of improvements, both in mechanics and electronics, as well as a new suspension and steering design, further elevating the driving experience and enjoyment of every journey. The suspension of the CX-60 2025 is double wishbone in the front and multilink in the rear. In this new model, the front suspension geometry has been modified to provide more precise and progressive steering response and to improve the return to the center position in low-speed maneuvers. At high speeds, the changes introduced increase the sense of control and steering precision on small and large angles. The rear suspension, following feedback from European customers, has been redesigned to have a softer response and adapt to the twisty and sometimes bumpy roads typical of our continent. Many changes have been made including lowering the position of the front joints and installing new under-frame bushings. New rear springs, now softer, combined with stiffer shock absorbers with greater travel. This combination effectively reduces pitching on uneven surfaces, providing smooth, stable and thus more intuitive handling. This new suspension layout also allows for the elimination of the stabilizer bar, and this arrangement allows for greater suspension travel, providing smoother absorption over bumps. These changes improve tire grip, and change the behavior from neutral with a tendency to oversteer to neutral with a slight understeer. The rear-wheel-drive longitudinal engine arrangement optimally balances this new set-up by making it neutral and giving a feeling of agility when taking corners, thanks to the always predictable response to power modulation and steering angles given. The improvements made to the suspension system embody Mazda’s commitment to the Jinba Ittai philosophy, in which the car and driver move in perfect harmony, providing an engaging and enjoyable driving experience. In the CX-60 2025 model, the dual-pinion electric power steering has been modified to ensure a solid and consistent response between steering wheel angle and front wheel movement. The power-assist support has been slightly increased. The result of these changes is to achieve direct and clean steering, providing together with the new suspension a more precise and reassuring control. The new suspension geometry also effectively improves steering feedback in low- and very low-speed maneuvers, reducing steering effort and comfort during city driving.KPC (Kinematic Posture Control) Mazda’s exclusive technology that takes advantage of the longitudinal arrangement of the mechanicals, stabilizing the vehicle’s posture when cornering, has been modified to integrate seamlessly with the new suspension geometry. The AWD system that manages traction on all four wheels in a timely and precise manner, modifying its intervention depending on the driving modes chosen, has also been evolved to adapt effectively to the new set-up and driving behavior. In addition to these changes, the engine and gearbox also benefit from two years of study, and the whole now provides an improved compact and quiet feel, contributing effectively to comfort and driving pleasure.Jinba Ittai is the hallmark of all Mazda cars: a perfect harmony between car and driver, immediately perceptible from the first kilometers and capable of providing increasingly profound sensations as time goes by at the wheel. Every journey is thus transformed into a unique experience.
