ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Mazda reinforces its human-centric vision by presenting the MANS Disc Test – Measurement Audio Natural Sound, an unpublished project designed to consciously experience the sound quality of the Mazda Harmonic Acoustic system, the internally developed audio system for Mazda3, Mazda CX-30, Mazda CX-60, Mazda CX-80 and New Mazda CX-5. The Disco Test MANS is available on the main musical platforms and is born as an instrument of listening and analysis, designed to evaluate acoustic performance on board and understand how sound and vibration contribute to the well-being of driver and passengers, in line with Mazda’s “Joy of Driving” philosophy. A tool that was also adopted by the authoritative SUONO magazine within its method of evaluating products dedicated to sound reproduction. Designed and developed by master Igor Fiorini, musician, Sound Director, and producer, the MANS – Measurement Audio Natural Sound method uses traces elaborated specifically for zone analysis and analysis of all parameters of the sound of the cabin and for a guided and conscious listening. The tracks of Disco Test are accompanied by audioguides that allow you to evaluate the accuracy of harmonic reproduction, perceive the correct spatial distribution of the instruments, and understand the dynamics of the audio system. The result is a structured and methodical listening experience, based on the perception of sound reproduction where the measuring instrument is man and his sensory perception, exactly in line with the design philosophy with which the Mazda cars were made. The disc is designed not only for fans, but for anyone who wants to fully understand how sound quality affects comfort and driving pleasure. The MANS Disc Test has been designed to fully understand the outstanding features of the Mazda Harmonic Acoustic system, available on Mazda CX-60, Mazda CX-80, Mazda3, CX-30 and New Mazda CX-5. Since the early stages of vehicle development, Mazda engineers have worked on structure, materials and interior architecture to create an ideal acoustic base. The system is three-way, with low, medium and high physically separated to avoid interference: Woofer housed in a dedicated structure between fender and intercapedine, for low deep and controlled frequencies; Mid-range inserted in real inert speakers inside the doors; Tweeter decoupled by the structure and placed above the dashboard for a precise and natural sound scene. Privileging the driver’s position and, if available, the Bose system, selecting the linear mode from the infotainment system, the sound scene is raised and projected in front of the driver, faithfully reproducing the intention of the sound engineer.
