ROMA (ITALPRESS) – “From 2022 we see a continuous increase in arrivals and attendance, as well as the historical overtaking on France and the pursuit of Spain in terms of overnight stays. In fact, last year, according to the first data reported by the respective national statistical institutes, with 535,5 million overnight stays, we conquered the first EU place for attendance, exceeding Spain. And it is precisely that of the presences the fact that it is worth, because it tells us how long a tourist stays from us and how much it spends, measuring also our ability to retain wealth on the territories. The fact of international arrivals, however, is abstract: the passengers who travel two hours, for example, in Paris are counted as arrivals. Our strength is not to pass people, but to make them stay. We work on this goal, to bring back who has already come and we do it by improving services and quality”.
