WENGEN (SVIZZERA) (ITALPRESS) – Atle Lie McGrath wins the slalom of Wengen, Switzerland, valid for the World Cup 2025/2026 of alpine skiing. The Norwegian confirms the first place of the first heat closing with the total time of 1’45′′99; to complete the podium are the Brazilian Lucas Pinheiro Braathen to 0′′′′47 and the other Norwegian Henrik Kristoffersen to 0′′′81. He lost the podium, instead, the Swiss Loic Meillard, which in the second heat lost two positions and closes to 1′′30.
As for the Italians, Alex Vinatzer closes with the 13th time (two positions recovered) to 2′′66, Tommaso Sala is 26° to 3′′65 and Tommaso Saccardi, who for the first time managed to qualify for the second heat, fired on the wall coming out of the race.
