VAL D’ISÈRE (FRANCIA) (ITALPRESS) – Loic Meillard wins the giant slalom of Val d’Isère, in France, valid for the World Cup 2025/2026 of alpine skiing. The Swiss recovers four positions compared to the first heat and closes with the total time of 2’10′′07, opening a splendid Helvetic triplet completed by Luca Aerni (at 0′′′18 with ten recovered positions) and Marco Odermatt (at 0′′′′33). Fifth position, however, for the Austrian Stefan Brennsteiner, who had closed the first heat in the head.
Eighth place for Alex Vinatzer, away 65 cents after sixth place in the first heat. At points also Filippo Della Vite (14° to 1′′′18 with ten recovered positions) and Luca de Aliprandini (25° to 1′′′83), while he came out of scene in the second sector Giovanni Borsotti.
