ROME (ITALPRESS) – “There is a great, and newfound, confidence on the part of investors and markets in the Italian System. We have recorded a record in the demand for our government bonds, the spread is significantly lower than when we took office, the Italian stock market has hit a record high and the rating agencies have improved their rating.” Premier Giorgia Meloni says this in an interview with “7,” the Corriere della Sera weekly newspaper. “What,” she adds, “some hoped were the weaknesses of this government have become strengths. Of course, this does not mean that all is well in Italy and that the totality of the problems have been solved, but the turnaround is there. That said, I am still convinced that we must and can always do more and better.”-Photo Agenzia Fotogramma-(ITALPRESS).
