ROME (ITALPRESS) – The collaboration between Mercedes-Benz Italy and the ACI-SARA Safe Driving Centers in Rome (Vallelunga) and Milan (Lainate) continues, which for 2025, for the fifth consecutive year, will continue to guarantee two multipurpose platforms for the enhancement of the Star’s products and strategies in our country. A partnership under the banner of safety and sustainability that from this year also extends its commitment to drivers with disabilities, thanks to the introduction of two A-Classes, equipped with a set of controls that makes it possible for people with a special category B driving license to participate in the courses, who, in total safety, will be able to follow the standard program, both theoretical and practical, carrying out all the exercises provided. The command set integrated into the cars consists of radio-controlled electronic accelerator and a forward push brake.
“The partnership with the ACI-SARA Safe Driving Centers today gives us a great opportunity to reinforce the concept of safety through our commitment to corporate social responsibility. The automobile has, in fact, always been a symbol of freedom and autonomy, and our commitment is to extend these values to people who, where supported by the appropriate devices, are perfectly capable of getting behind the wheel, safely, without any limitations or barriers,” says Marc Langenbrinck, President and CEO Mercedes-Benz Italy.
“The partnership with Mercedes-Benz Italia S.p.A. is an important step for ACI Vallelunga. With the integration of the prestigious automaker’s vehicles into our centers, our safe driving courses will be even more comprehensive, offering participants the chance to learn in cars equipped with the latest safety technologies,” says Vincenzo Credi president of ACI Vallelunga.
