FLORENCE (ITALPRESS) – “The centers in Albania for migrants? We expect to leave as early as next week. Then we hope not to” because that would mean “not needing” to bring migrants to those “facilities. I have already been there, I will go back there for a reconnaissance to see things,” but “there will be no ceremonies or ribbon cutting” for the start of this project. Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi said this while speaking at the ongoing Festival of Optimism in Florence. In Albania “there are light detention facilities, they are not Cpr, there is no barbed wire, they are light detention centers,” Piantedosi concluded.
