MILAN (ITALPRESS) – As part of the “Italian Industry Open Day” project promoted by Confindustria Serbia, Milped Italia, part of the Milped Group active in the transport and logistics sector and associated with Confindustria Serbia, opened the doors of its company in Milan to Serbian students in Italy and the local community. The goal of the meeting, which was attended by 20 Serbian students from universities in northern Italy, was to network and create a stronger and more direct connection between young people and the business world. Irena Brajovic, director of Confindustria Serbia, opened the event by expressing her hope that the meeting would be only the first in a series of similar events, stressing that Milped’s example is an example of true internationalization. “I would like to thank the Milped group for their hospitality, the Ino Edukacija agency and Ana Maria Koppert, who accompanies young people in choosing and enrolling in universities abroad and with whose help we have realized this meeting, then the Embassy and the Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in Milan, as well as to the other members and partners of Confindustria Serbia, including Banca Intesa, Siad group, Liuc University.”Nataa Savicevic, consul general of the Republic of Serbia in Milan, stressed that “today’s program is designed to inform young people, put them in direct contact with companies, but also to inform them. Such exchanges of experience are valuable for young people as they enable them to get closer to the corporate world, establish collaborations or undertake internships. But these meetings are also much more than that: through the exchange of knowledge and mutual support, they help to strengthen the ties between our two countries, Serbia and Italy. After all, the essence of it all lies in connecting nations, industries and individuals. “For Marco Bertolli, director of Milped Italy, “it was a wonderful experience to listen to the questions, the curiosities of the young people about the world of logistics. It is essential to continue to be curious, to continue to study day after day. The message I wanted to convey to these young people, and I am the example, is that in order to get to knowledge in a profession made up of people such as transportation and logistics, you have to put not only your head, but also your heart and continue to have passion to create a healthy, familiar environment that can allow you to work without pressure, with curiosity and with mutual satisfaction of the whole team that accompanied me on this journey.”(ITALPRESS).-Photo: press office Confindustria Serbia-
