ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The Minister of the University and Research, Anna Maria Bernini, has signed a decree that allocates 939,209 euros to the legally recognized university colleges, with the aim of supporting its institutional activities and strengthening its role in the system of law to study. The resources will help to improve and expand the housing and educational offer aimed at worthy students, ensuring qualified study environments, accompanying services and educational paths capable of enhancing talent and commitment. The University Colleges are an essential component of the Italian university system: not only residences, but places of cultural and personal growth, where skills, relationships and opportunities are built.
“The right to study, for us – says Bernini – is not an abstract principle but a concrete commitment that we are honoring day after day.” “With this intervention we strengthen structures that welcome thousands of students every year away from home, supporting the academic and personal path. Investing in colleges – he adds – means investing in the quality of university experience and making merit truly accessible. It is a choice consistent with our vision: a system that rewards talent and removes economic and social obstacles.”.
The funding is part of the policies promoted by the Ministry of University and Research to broaden the opportunities for students outside the home and make the right to study throughout the national territory more effective.
