Mondadori opens new bookstore in Rome, Marina Berlusconi “They have a social role”

ROME (ITALPRESS) – “Inaugurating a new bookstore is not only a commercial fact, but it means something more.” These were the words of Marina Berlusconi, president of Fininvest and the Mondadori Group, speaking on the sidelines of the opening of the new bookstore inside the Alberto Sordi Gallery, right in the center of Rome. “Bookstores are not just outlets, but have a social role because of the general promotion of culture, reading, entertainment and music,” she said.
“My assessment of this government is absolutely positive, we must not forget the difficulties that the center-right coalition has been facing for two years now,” Marina Berlusconi said of the Meloni government. “In these two years I have appreciated the responsibility that the government has shown with the gradual securing of public accounts, seasoned by an authoritative foreign policy inspired by the sacrosanct values of Europeanism. The economy has benefited, and this is evidenced by a positive stock market and a declining spread, as well as GDP that is growing. This government has faced many difficulties, squeezed between new European constraints to be met and a geopolitical situation that I do not hesitate to call dramatic,” Marina Berlusconi concluded.
