MILAN (ITALPRESS) – Claudio Moro has been appointed as the new CEO of Mooney Group S.p.A. and the companies it directly controls, Mooney S.p.A. and Mooney Servizi S.p.A. Claudio Moro, who has been a member of Mooney’s Board of Directors since May 2024, has gained extensive experience in the financial institutions sector, also holding apical roles, as CEO and/or General Manager, in banking entities such as Banca Leonardo (2012 – 2018) and Banca Investis (2019 – 2023).
The appointment of Claudio Moro reflects the joint goal of the shareholders to accelerate the process of growth and full integration of the Mooney Group’s business areas in order to strengthen its market positioning. “Stefania Gentile, to whom the thanks of Enel and Intesa Sanpaolo go for her work over the years, is leaving the leadership of the company in agreement with the Board of Directors. Together with her team, Gentile has contributed with commitment and determination to consolidate Mooney’s position in payment, transactional and mobility services,” reads a note.
