RABAT (MOROCCO) (ITALPRESS) – Morocco’s capital city of Rabat was unanimously selected for the UN-Habitat 2024 Honorary Award during the celebration of World Habitat Day in Querétaro, Mexico. This prestigious award is for cities that have made outstanding achievements in urban development and have contributed significantly to improving the quality of life of their inhabitants.
“Rabat’s nomination for this Award of Excellence represents a glorious international recognition that acknowledges the importance of the emblematic program +Rabat City of Light, Morocco’s Capital of Culture+, launched and decided upon by His Majesty King Mohammed VI,” Rabat’s municipality writes in a press release.
