trROMA (ITALPRESS) – A motion of distrust to the Ministra Santanchè was deposited this morning at the Chamber and signed by all opposition forces. Below is the text signed by Chiara Braga (Pd), Riccardo Ricciardi (M5s), Luana Zanella (Avs), Matteo Richetti (Action), Maria Elena Boschi (IV) and Riccardo Magi (+Europe).
“The Chamber, provided that: Article 94 of the Constitution confers on each Chamber the power to revoke trust by reasoned motion; the political responsibility of individual ministers is an essential element of the proper functioning of the Executive and the fiduciary relationship with Parliament; considering that: the President of the Council of Ministers, with a statement made in the late afternoon of 24 March. Mr Garnero Santanché’s resignation as Minister of Tourism; these statements point out that the President of the Council and the Minister’s relationship between the President of the Council and the Minister is less than a question of objective incompatibility with the remainder of office; the lack of responsibility by voluntary resignation, in the face of an explicit takeover of the summit of the Executive, constitutes a serious institutional anomaly; this situation.
