Moto2, Gonzalez’s first win in Japan

MOTEGI (JAPAN) (ITALPRESS) – Spaniard Manuel Gonzalez (Kalex) triumphs in the Japanese Grand Prix, snatching victory from the home favorite, Ai Ogura (Boscoscoscuro). For the Spanish rider it is the first victory in Moto2. On the Motegi circuit, however, the public’s embrace is all for Ogura, second in the race and increasingly the leader of the championship: the margin from Garcia thus rises to 60 points. Bronze medal, instead, for the Czech Filip Salac (Kalex). The race had been temporarily suspended by a red flag due to rain. After the interruption some riders chose to return to the track mounting slick tires: among them, also Ogura, whose risk certainly paid off. Jeremy Alcoba (Kalex) and Zonta Van den Goorbergh (Kalex) finished fourth and fifth, respectively. In order, the top ten consists of Xavier Artigas, Celestino Vietti, Diogo Moreira, Alonso Lopez and Izan Guevara. Tony Arbolino, on the other hand, is only 11th.(ITALPRESS).
