BARCELONA (SPAIN) (ITALPRESS) – Jorge Martin, riding the
Ducati Prima Pramac, is the new MotoGP world champion,
thanks to his third place in the Barcelona Grand Prix. For
the first time in the modern era, a customer team triumphs in the
championship. Made in vain, therefore, the victory of Pecco Bagnaia
(Ducati Lenovo) at the Montmeló circuit. Despite the eleven
seasonal victories, the rider from Chivasso closes second in the
world championship. Today’s podium is completed by Marc Marquez
(Ducati Gresini), in second place, and Jorge Martin. Fourth
place for Alex Marquez (Ducati Gresini); then, fifth Aleix
Espargaro (Aprilia), in his last race before retirement.
In order, completing the top ten are Enea Bastianini, Brad Binder,
Franco Morbidelli, Pedro Acosta and Marco Bezzecchi.
