ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Iranian media and eyewitnesses report strong explosions heard in different areas of the capital Tehran, accompanied by the hunting fly in its skies. According to the Mehr agency, the anti-aircraft defenses were activated to intercept “hostile aircraft bombs” on the city, with sirens and air combat noises that caused panic among residents.
Explosions, described as powerful and consecutive, also affected the city of Keraj, capital of the province of Alborz to the west of Tehran: local witnesses speak of multiple detonations and flying of jet fighters, with houses that trembled for the intensity of the cliffs. Official details of victims, damages or targets are not yet available.
