New Israeli raids in Gaza, death toll rising

GAZA (PALESTINE) (ITALPRESS) – Gaza sources report airstrikes occurred overnight in several areas of the Strip, with overnight shelling continuing at a rapid pace. Attacks by Israeli aircraft are reported around Khan Younis in southern Gaza, as well as in several areas south of Gaza City near the northern end of the Strip. At least 10 people are reported killed in the raids.

The Hamas-linked Quds news agency says the death toll in the renewed Israeli offensive has risen to 429. Hamas-controlled health authorities had previously estimated the death toll at 408. There was no comment from the Israeli military. Israeli officials said the army was only firing at terrorist targets.
