Very close to the 59:00 wall, Yeman presents himself at the finish in 59:01, a stellar chrono that places him in the seventh place of the best seasonal performances of 2026 and allows him to perfect of 25′′ his national record of 59′′′′26 stamped in 2022 always in Naples, which therefore celebrates in great style the honors of European Capital of Sport 2026. Place of honor for Kenyan Andrea Kiptoo in 59:27 and podium completed by his compatriot Owen Korir Kapkama in 59:42.
