TORINO (ITALPRESS) – Alfa Romeo presents Giulia Quadrifoglio Collection and Stelvio Quadrifoglio Collection, two creations in limited edition that are born to celebrate one of the most famous symbols of the brand, the Quadrifoglio, which brings with it a hundred years research of technical excellence applied to competitions and production cars. Born in 1923, when the driver Ugo Sivocci won the Targa Florio with his Alfa Romeo RL embellished with the benaugurante logo, since then the iconic emblem identifies the most performing cars of the brand engaged on the race circuits.
In 1963, with the Giulia Ti Super, the legendary logo left the tracks on the road and went to distinguish the most powerful and exclusive road cars, marking the beginning of a new era for the brand. The year when the four-leaf debuted on road cars resonates strongly in this special series that is available today in only 63 specimens marketed in Europe, UK, MEA, China and Japan.
The Giulia and the Stelvio Quadrifoglio Collection take shape in the Cassino plant, where the Italian artisan tradition meets the most advanced technology, creating unique models. Their charm is manifested from the first glance in the dedicated colors “Rosso Collezione Giulia” and “Rosso Collezione Stelvio”: two interpretations of the now famous “Rosso Villa D’Este” on 33 Stradale.
Over the years, in fact, Alfa Romeo red has become following the evolution of the brand: from the iconic pastel to the suggestive metallics, to the most sophisticated tristrate, each new hue has told a different chapter of the identity of the brand. The Red Villa d’Este, born initially to “dress” the 4C Concept, is a deep shade, rich in in ink, able to switch from red to black depending on the light.
In the new limited editions, this color is reinterpreted in two different but complementary expressions: Giulia chooses in fact the darkest, almost black shades, in harmony with its soul of extreme sports, while Stelvio prefers the brightest and most open reading of red, a shade that reflects a more versatile sportiness, suitable for a powerful but versatile SUV. Two different ways to tell the same color myth, both faithful to the Alfa Romeo essence.
Inside, the leather-coated dashboard with red seams creates a warm and enveloping environment, while the leather seats and Alcantara are characterized by the embroidered numbering, from “1 of 63 Collection” to the last, unrepeatable exemplary. Finally, the cabin is embellished with the Sparco seats with carbon shell and the door panels and central armrest covered in leather.
Under the hood, the powerful 2.9 V6 from 520 CV, which embodies the entire Alfa Romeo sports tradition and returns to the guide the instinctive connection typical of the brand. And the V6 sound is made even more distinctive by the Akrapovic exhaust system. The carbon fiber, symbol of the racing soul of the Quadrifoglio, covers the shield in the front, the caps of the mirrors and the finishes of the central tunnel and the bridge. Further peculiarity is the refined carbon roof exposed, which adds additional sports aggressiveness. Finally, the carbide braking system that guarantees maximum braking performance and also adds a distinctive stylistic touch thanks to the signature Alfa Romeo red on the anodised pinza brunita.
Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio Collection, therefore, are not only two special editions but an authentic tribute to a symbol that always distinguishes the most fascinating and performing Alfa Romeo cars, design objects and innovation able to arouse emotion at the first glance and adrenaline as soon as you are at the wheel. For this reason, the two limited editions are engaged in the Instant Classic certification, confirming the binomial “beauty and technique” inherent in the DNA Alfa Romeo, which makes each car a work in movement able to leave an indelible mark in the heart of fans.
