With over 50 percent – about 2,700 components – new development or redesign, confirms an inheritance of innovation, progress, engineering and digital ambition. The flagship of the Star affirms its status with a bolder silhouette and, for the first time, an illuminated grid, enlarged by about 20% and accentuated by three-dimensional chrome stars redesigned. For over 100 years, the Mercedes star symbolizes the heritage of the brand and the pioneering spirit. Today it enters a new era: for the first time, the Star of the Class S is available on request also self-illuminata . An unmistakable element that becomes part of the luminous signature of the Class S and gives the vehicle a radiant presence at night. The contemporary bright design radiates prestige in its beauty and transforms every step, whether it is a great event or simply returning home, into a memorable occasion. The MANUFAKTUR program offers an unparalleled level of customization, with exclusive coating finishes, luxurious leather packages and exquisite craftsmanship details. Two new Manufaktur shades are now available as standard colours: Manufaktur black sparkling, with authentic glass flakes for an amazing reflex, and Manufaktur verdesilver magno, which introduces a sophisticated opaque finish to the popular green tone.
Powered by MB.OS, the fourth generation of MBUX, debuts on Class S. The system draws today also from IA powered by ChatGPT4o, Microsoft Bing and Google Gemini, combining multiple AI agents in one system. In this way, the new MBUX Virtual Assistant “Hey Mercedes” revolutionizes the relationship between the vehicle and passengers in each seat. Customers experience a more intuitive and personal digital companion thanks to generating AI, multi-turn dialogues as with a friend and short-term memory. The MB.OS connects all systems into one smart ecosystem and is the basis for MB.DRIVE and MBUX. Its connection with the Mercedes Benz Intelligent Cloud allows ethereal updates for numerous vehicle functions, keeping the S Class always digitally updated and attractive throughout its life. The result: the new S-Class becomes an intuitive companion, offering smooth interactions, exceptional performance and intelligence ready for the future for each passenger – creating a smarter, safer and more personal driving experience than ever. On the security front, standard equipment includes MB.Drive Assist, with features such as Distance Assist Distronic with Steering Assist and Lane Change Assist. Evasiva Steering Function Plus independently dirts around objects or other vehicles to prevent collisions within the vehicle lane. For improved road support, Proactive Lane Change Assist offers automatic lane changes. In addition, MB. Drive Assist Pro includes improved service functions such as automatic braking to stop signals and traffic lights. The various functions will be offered both as a factory option and as a Digital Extra through the Mercedes Benz Store, their availability also depends on the market. Three versions available for short-step version: Advanced, Advanced Plus, Premium is added to the Premium Plus version in long-term models.
Four engines at the launch, only hybrids, Diesel and gasoline, with powers between 313+23 and 449+22 horses. Prices from 128,454 euros for the S 350 d 4Matic Advanced short-step and 135,427 for the same model in long-wheelbase version.
