New Opel Grandland with Intelli-Lux HD headlights, stop dark nights

RUSSELSHEIM (GERMANY) (ITALPRESS) – In a few days, or rather nights, ghostly creatures will once again be roaming the streets in search of delicacies of all kinds. From now on, however, their efforts to go unnoticed before playing a potential prank will be in vain, thanks to the new Opel Grandland. With its new Intelli-Lux HD matrix headlights, the latest generation of glare-free Intelli-Lux LED technology, the all-new SUV “made in Germany,” which has been available for order for just a few days, creates light where there was nothing but darkness before. But this is not the only innovation in lighting introduced by Opel with the new Grandland. It is also the first Opel with 3D Vizor, illuminated Opel Blitz logo and “Edge Light” technology. This makes the new Opel Grandland an attention-grabbing newcomer, if only for its innovative lighting technologies. The democratization of various and advanced lighting technologies on various Opel models over time has been a tradition of Opel for 125 years. The ultra-modern system turns night into day and precisely illuminates the path and surroundings for the benefit of the driver. Depending on the traffic situation, the camera detects other road users ahead and those coming in the opposite direction, and Intelli-Lux HD matrix headlights exclude them from the beam even more quickly and accurately than previous matrix lighting technologies, eliminating glare. The “light tunnel,” that is, the area left out of the beam, is narrower than before, while the rest of the road and surrounding area are better illuminated. In this way, the system provides even greater and uniform illumination without dazzling others. Scientific studies show safety benefits. Objects in front of the vehicle can be detected about 30-40 meters earlier at a speed of 80 km/h than with conventional halogen headlights. This allows the driver to react to the potential obstacle between one and two seconds earlier: valuable time to avoid the risk of a collision.
