MILAN (ITALPRESS) – Volvo Trucks Italy and FLEET220 have signed a new strategic partnership to support the transition to electric trucking by offering customers a complete and integrated charging solution. Thanks to this partnership, for every Volvo electric truck purchased in Italy, customers will be provided with the “Volvo Bundle” package consisting of a 43 kW ElintaCharge AC charging station, which will ensure an adequate solution designed for overnight recharging at the customer’s sites/logistics.
But the added value does not stop there: FLEET220 will take care of the entire process, from the supply and installation of the charging station to the complete management of the charging infrastructure. The aforementioned AC charging package matched to the purchased vehicle includes infrastructure design; installation and activation of the Elinta City Charge 43 charging station; charging cable; 24/7 remote online support; and charging services and monitoring.
“Our mission is to make the transition to electric easier and more affordable for transportation companies. This new partnership with FLEET220 is a concrete step toward ensuring that every customer has an efficient charging infrastructure tailored to their needs. This solution adapts in a modular way to the customer’s transport requirements and with the possibility to be integrated at both hardware and service level,” said Sabrina Loner, eMob Product Homologation Director of Volvo Trucks Italy. “This agreement confirms the position of Fleet220 and Volvo Trucks as key players in electric mobility innovation. Our collaboration with Volvo Trucks Italia underscores our shared commitment to promoting a sustainable future for the transportation sector by providing solutions that meet the operational needs of our customers,” said Carolina Solcia, CEO of Fleet 220. With this initiative, Volvo Trucks Italy and FLEET220 demonstrate their commitment to a more sustainable and efficient transportation sector, actively contributing to the energy transition.
