TORINO (ITALPRESS) – Suzuki presents the new Across Plug-In Hybrid, a SUV that combines advanced technology, high performance and efficiency, confirming itself as the ideal choice for those who want to live mobility in an evolved way without sacrificing versatility. Thanks to a new generation Hybrid Plug-in system and superior safety and comfort, the new Across is ready to face every route, from the city to the most demanding terrain. The robust and modern design immediately expresses its strong character. The clean but sculpted lines, the front grille with a raised profile, the wide track and the squared wheelbase emphatize the off-road capabilities and give the car a strong and safe presence on the road.
The color range is enriched with three new shades – White, Grey and Green – that flank the classic Black, expanding the possibilities of customization. Inside, the cabin is designed according to the concept of “slide effect”, which concentrates the main controls in one ergonomic area. The digital cockpit integrates clusters and infotainment into a technological and intuitive environment, designed to offer an immersive driving experience. The front seats, heated and covered in synthetic leather and fabric, guarantee high comfort: that of the driver is electrically adjustable in 10 positions with memory function, while that of the passenger offers 8 adjustments. The luggage capacity of 446 liters, and the hands-free electric hanger make the new Across practice even in everyday life.
The technological heart of the new Across Plug-In Hybrid is the compact high-performance PHEV system, designed to maximize efficiency and autonomy. The integration of the Power Control Unit and the DC/DC converter into the front eAxle, together with the use of silicon carbide semiconductors, allows a reduction of energy losses and a better exploitation of the internal space. The 2.5-litre four-cylinder thermal engine ensures brilliant performance and low consumption, adapting to the different driving conditions. To complete the picture, the AllGrip E-Four integral traction system ensures stability and control over each background, with different driving modes – Normal, Eco, Sport and E-Four Trail – to safely address each situation. The wide range of ADAS systems, including the pre-collision system, adaptive cruise control with radar and the 360° room, further raises the level of safety and driving assistance.
